@Tom-K said in An E-Bike for your feet: @Doctor-Phibes said in An E-Bike for your feet: What's the point in going faster if you're burning fewer calories? You do give away the fact you're not American buy making comments like this. Americans just want to go faster--and that's all there is to it. Well they sure as shit don't want to burn more calories, that much is obvious

Miller is wasted talent. If you hear him speak, he is 10/10 with the ability to articulate the message. Well maybe 9.5 out of 10, he has frozen up before. Of course, this is ironic because his ability to speak so well well historically be looked at as the highest level of sycopahntic rhetoric to the Golden Swamp King (GSK).

@jon-nyc said in Good news from the courts: We’ll see. The rule that was struck down never went into effect according to the comments. It was enjoined more or less right when it was supposed to go into effect. It’s still the exact same overarching principle. The executive order to change the interpretation of the law was beyond the scope of Executive authority in administering the law.

Yes. Controlling it both positive and negative is key. Otherwise you're not getting the most out of your effort.

You’ll get quite the windfall when prices all go down heading into next year.

It's part of the human condition to prefer that everybody fails rather than allowing one's enemy to succeed.

Those crossfit exercises are getting weirder. But you can't argue with those results. Nice lats. Legs could use more definition. And a statue isn't a statue until its penis is exposed. That's statue 101.

She’s right in the need to innovate, though. The candlelight recitals are fantastic. One of the other things that I almost agreed with her on as well is the patronage model, until she turned into a whole bunch of socially ignorant bs. Today’s patronage isn’t the Rothschilds. It’s 1st generation tech millionaires and billionaires.

Thanks, Ax. I'll look at it if this next one (highly reviewed in Popular Mechanics) turns out to be a dud.

Lovely vision, isn't it? That's one thing that gets me... most of the kids "thinking they're trans" is just associate with characteristics (looks, hobbies, personality) associated with the traditional feminine or masculine stereotype and nothing with actual physical dysmorphia.

Perhaps if Trump(CF) lives long enough, it could be used rather appropriately as a courtroom when he is called to answer for his various dodgy dealings over the last few & forthcoming three years.

@Mik said in The hill they have chosen to die on: The question remains are they important enough that we should borrow to pay for them. We should tax and pay for them. Even if you want to restrict the argument to "borrowing," of all the things we "borrow to pay for," one would think that the health of the citizenry should be pretty high up on priority. Without sufficient insurance coverage, the uninsured will still get healthcare anyway -- but through much costlier means such as going to emergency rooms rather than primary care, and/or cost a lot more for worsened ailments that could have been diagnosed and treated early on the cheap had there been sufficient insurance.

Supposedly, Trump has managed to dismiss 1.8 Billion dollars through his generous pardons.
